    Norman A. White Rites

    BARRE — A service of remembrance was held for Norman A. White, 87, on Thursday, May 8, 2014, at the First Congregational Church in Berlin. He died May 3, 2014, at his home.

    The Rev. Dereen Vanderlinde-Abernathy, pastor of the church, officiated the service.

    Organist Trina Newland accompanied the congregation in the songs.

    Words of remembrance were given by daughter Colleen White and other members of the congregation.

    After the service, family and friends gathered in the church parish hall for fellowship and refreshments.

    Burial will take place later at Hope Cemetery in Barre.

    Arrangements were in the care of the Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home, 58 Summer St. in Barre.
