RICHMOND — Vermont State Police say a Waterbury resident has been cited on suspicion of driving drunk.

During a routine patrol early Sunday morning, state police say they found a vehicle off the roadway at the commuter parking lot in Richmond. The lone occupant of the vehicle was Yana Lotspeich, 21.

After an investigation, state police say it was found that Lotspeich was under the influence of alcohol.

Lotspeich is scheduled to appear in Chittenden County criminal court May 15 to answer the charge.
