ESSEX JUNCTION — A Vermont real estate company wants to build a $10 million, 70,000-square-foot building at the Essex Junction five corners area.
The proposal, by Milot Real Estate Inc., of Williston, would tear down a now-closed bank and build a four-story structure with retail space on the ground floor and 51 apartments in the upper stories.
The project will be reviewed under Vermont’s land-use planning law, Act 250. It has won approval from the village’s Planning Commission.
Milot’s Brett Grabowski said the building would bring more residences to the downtown and offer needed retail and commercial space.
