• Crash leads to DUI charge

    WATERBURY — Vermont State Police say an East Montpelier resident was driving under the influence.

    State police were called to a two-car crash Friday on Route 100 in Waterbury. While investigating, state police say, it was discovered Stacey K. Fordham, 42, one of the drivers, had been drinking before the crash.

    Fordham is to appear in Washington County criminal court in Barre on May 15 to answer the charge.
