Vermont baby boomers will have a chance to unite and learn April 26 for the third annual Central Vermont 50+ Expo.

The free event at the Holiday Inn Conference Center in Rutland Town is designed to offer useful information to local residents 50 and older, but all are welcome to attend.

More than 40 exhibitors will give workshop demonstrations and speeches stressing the importance of health and wellness, along with financial and insurance advice.

An event highlight will be the Elvis Tribute Concert featuring Dana Z, a professional Elvis impersonator who has traveled throughout the country performing at festivals and conventions.

Renowned artist and local painting instructor Ann McFarren will demonstrate her techniques with watercolors and oil paints. Her private collections are known and viewed in the United States and abroad.

The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday with free admission and parking. Visit www.vermontmaturity.com/RutlandEXPO or call 872-9000 for more information.
