• Charges dropped against former TV reporter

    BURLINGTON — A prosecutor said criminal charges have been dropped against a former WCAX-TV news reporter who was accused of groping a woman at a Lyndon bar last year, now that he has apologized to the woman.

    Caledonia County State’s Attorney Lisa Warren said that all the complaining witness had said all along she wanted was a sincere apology from Matt Henson.

    Henson pleaded not guilty and was later fired from his job.
