• Drivers injured in head-on crash

    WAITSFIELD — Vermont State Police say two people involved in a two-car crash in Waitsfield on Monday night that closed Route 100 for about an hour suffered injuries that weren’t life-threatening.

    Robert Stevens, 84, of Waitsfield, was driving south on Route 100 when state police say Kory Wagner, 28, of Moretown, who was northbound, veered into Stevens’ lane and the two vehicles collided head-on.

    Both drivers were taken to Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin. State police say the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
