• Teen accused of drunken driving

    BERLIN — A Worcester teen has been cited on a charge of drunken driving.

    Berlin police say they were told of a possible intoxicated driver Saturday in the McDonald’s parking lot on Route 302. While they were responding, say police, a vehicle driven by Amber Powers, 18, left the parking lot heading to Barre. Powers was pulled over and cited, police say.

    Powers is scheduled to appear in Washington County criminal court in early April to answer the charge.
