• Fifth annual Central Vermont Job Fair is April 3

    BARRE — The fifth annual Central Vermont Job Fair will be held April 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Barre Municipal Auditorium.

    Admission is free to all job seekers. Participants can learn about a multitude of opportunities from entry-level to advanced positions in a variety of fields. Numerous central Vermont businesses have confirmed that they will attend.

    Job seekers are encouraged to bring their resumes and arrive early. A resource room will be available with computers, a copier and staff to assist job seekers.

    In addition, representatives from resource organizations like Creative Workforce Solutions and the Vermont Department of Labor will be there to support job seekers in finding and retaining employment.

    The event will be hosted by the Workforce Development Board of Central Vermont, with several sponsors. For more information call the board at 223-4654.
