    Call for compassion

Foreclosure is not just the loss of a home. It can also be the loss of personal and cherished items that are irreplaceable. My mother’s cookbooks and handwritten recipes, for example. When a request for such items is denied, there are no words. It’s not the buyer’s fault I lost my home, but to withhold such precious items is inexplicable. A little kindness and human compassion would have been answered prayer.
