    of crash injuries

    WATERBURY — Vermont State Police say a man involved in a crash on Interstate 89 over the weekend has died.

    Police say 38-year-old Brian German of Warren died Wednesday evening,

    Authorities said he was driving south in the northbound lane of the interstate Saturday at about 3:20 a.m. when his vehicle collided with a northbound tractor trailer truck in Waterbury.

    German was taken Fletcher Allen Health Care where he died four days later. The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

    The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing. Police are asking anyone who may have information to contact Trooper Amber Haag at the state police barracks in Middlesex.
