EAST MONTPELIER — A student at U-32 has been cited by police on a charge of selling marijuana on school grounds.

Vermont State Police say Quinton Walker-Clayton, 18, of East Montpelier, was seen Tuesday by one of the school’s administrators selling marijuana in the school’s atrium. State police said they recovered three bags of marijuana, a digital scale and a small sum of money off Walker-Clayton.

State police say he was selling marijuana to another student.

Walker-Clayton was also given a civil ticket for possession of marijuana.

He is scheduled to appear in Washington County criminal court April 24 to answer the charge of selling the drug.
