• Broken water line causes delays
    February 20,2014

MONTPELIER -- Homes and businesses near the roundabout and the Formula Ford dealership may be experiencing water disruptions this morning, while city crews repair a major water line break along River Street.
At 5 a.m., the city’s police issued a statement stating that the water and public works departments had been dispatched to the leak discovered on River Street just east of the roundabout.
Repairs were expected to go on through the morning.
Morning commuters were also cautioned to seek alternate routes other than Route 302/River Street if they are traveling into Montpelier today. Otherwise, significant delays are expected.
The Times Argus will continue to follow the city’s progress here.
