WATERBURY A Waterbury man was arrested after another Waterbury resident accused him of assault late Thursday, according to Vermont State Police.

Police went to a residence in Waterbury after Clement Despault, 50, called and said he had been assaulted by Anthony Maskell, 29, according to a news release. State police said they found Maskell shortly afterward and cited him on charges of simple assault, burglary and violating conditions of his release from other cases.
