• Jewelry stolen from store at mall

    BERLIN — Police are looking for information about a burglary at J.C. Penney in Berlin on Monday morning.

    Police say someone forced their way into the store in the Berlin Mall and stole thousands of dollars worth of jewelry. Police believe the incident occurred around 3:40 a.m.

    Anyone with information is asked to call Berlin police at 223-4401 and ask for Officer Mitchell.
