DUXBURY –— A Montgomery man who was allegedly spotted speeding on Route 100 late Saturday night was pulled over by state police and later cited for drunken driving.

According to police, Eric Hoh, 47, was taken into custody following a routine traffic stop that occurred shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday.

Police claim Hoh was driving faster than the posted speed limit on the section of Route 100 they were patrolling at the time and pulled over so they could ticket him for the violation.

While speaking with Hoh, police said they determined he had been drinking and he was transported to the Middlesex barracks, where he was processed for driving under the influence and later released on a citation to appear at the criminal courthouse in Barre on Feb. 6.

Hoh is expected to be charged with drunken driving at that time.
