• I-89 driver faces license charge

    MIDDLESEX — Vermont State Police say a Belvidere man was driving with a suspended license on Interstate 89 in Middlesex.

    James Laflin, 28, was northbound Friday when he was pulled over by state police. A records check revealed he had a criminally suspended license, state police say.

    He is to appear in Washington County criminal court in Barre on Feb. 27 to answer the charge.
