    ESSEX — The Hornets scored an empty-netter in the final minute to lock up their fifth straight victory Thursday.

    Denver Heath, Matt Clark-Blouin and Jeff Roy all scored for the Tide, while teammate Ben Ferland made 27 saves in goal.

    Essex improves to 7-2, while Spaulding falls to 2-4-4. The Crimson Tide will travel to play BFA-St. Albans on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
