WILLIAMSTOWN — Jacob Robert Joseph Stuart, 21, died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday night, Dec. 14, 2013. In his 21 years, Jacob touched many lives and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Born on April 14, 1992, in Berlin, he was the son of Peter J. Gregoire Sr. and Shelley Stuart. He attended Williamstown Elementary School and Williamstown High School.
Jacob had lived in Williamstown most of his life but had spent three years living in Havelock, N.C., until recently moving back to Williamstown.
While in North Carolina, he had worked as a store clerk, but most of his working life was spent working with his close friend, Tim Reil.
Jacob’s special interests included hunting, fishing, playing video games, music, cribbage, pitch, watching movies, working on his Jeep and going mudding. However, his favorite thing in life was time spent with his niece, Isis.
Survivors include his mother, Shelley Stuart, and stepfather, Joel Carminati; four brothers, Justin Stuart, Peter Gregoire Jr. and Christian Gregoire, and Christian DeForge; a sister, TaSheena, and her husband, Joe Haag.
Also surviving are his grandmother June Stuart, along with nine aunts, Roberta Johnson, Charlene Burke, Sheryl Stuart, Diane Stuart, Neysha Stuart, Doris Connelly, Claire Garcia-Andrews, Tina Carminati and Kim Carminati; four uncles, John Stuart, Jason Stuart Walt, Robert Gregoire and Tom Hood; a niece, Isis Haag; a nephew, Ivan Haag; close cousins Cody Rodger, Jaimie Rodger and Kodey Renfrew, along with other numerous cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Peter Gregoire Sr.
Jacob’s life will be celebrated on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at 5 p.m. in the Moose Lodge in Williamstown, with a luncheon and a time for reflections. The family will conduct a burial at a time to be determined.
