• Rebels skate past Ormsby, Tide

    SOUTH BURLINGTON — The Crimson Tide put up a fight but ultimately fell short Wednesday against the Rebels.

    Following the first period the Tide were tied at 2-2 followingtwo goals from Ormsby and two from SoSuth Burlington’s Molly Dunphy.

    The Rebels swept the Tide away with four goals from Sarah Fisher in the second period. The Tide came back with one goal from Jordyn Binaghi in the third period, but Courtney Barrett answered for the Rebels.

    Goalie Morgan Gosselin had 33 saves for the Tide, while Courtney Peyko had 23 saves for the Rebels.Spaulding (1-1) will host North Country Saturday at 3:30.
