    Richard D. Raymond Rites

    BARRE — The Mass of Christian burial and celebration of life for Richard D. Raymond, of Pleasant Street, was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at St. Monica Catholic Church in Barre.

    The Rev. Leopold Bilodeau presided and presented the homily.

    Organist Rosie Badeau and flutist Janice Beech accompanied the congregation and soloists Ron Routhier and Richard Shadroui in the hymns, “Amazing Grace,” “Come Back to Me,” “Ave Maria,” “Song of Farewell” and “How Great Thou Art.”

    The gifts were brought to the altar by his daughter, Jessie Cantrell; son, Shawn Fordham; and son-in-law, Christopher Cantrell Sr.

    The bearers were Mark Webster, Stanley Fordham, Shawn Fordham, Josh McElroy, Cody Renfrew and Billy Raymond.

    Burial will take place in the spring of 2014 at the Berlin Corners Cemetery in Berlin, following entombment in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home vault.
