• Rap stars making local stop

    BARRE — One of the bigger rap groups in the country will be playing in Barre on Saturday.

    Nappy Roots will be at Gusto’s, with house DJ Devon Foxx opening for the group at 10 p.m. The show is expected to go until 2 a.m.

    The cover charge is $10.

    The band, known for its Southern rap and folk-style music, has been nominated for multiple MTV and other awards.
