Man faces charge after fight
MARSHFIELD — A 19-year-old Plainfield man is facing a charge of aggravated domestic assault stemming from an argument police say spun out of control on Taylor Farm Road earlier this month.
State police said Tuesday that Kevin Spidle was taken into custody in connection with an incident that had been under investigation since Nov. 9 when they received a report of a domestic assault at about 10:30 a.m.
After an investigation that included multiple interviews, police determined that an argument escalated and Spidle assaulted another occupant of a car he was traveling in on Taylor Farm Road at the time.
Police provided no details of the alleged assault but said the victim was not injured.
Police did not identify the victim, as is their protocol, and they did not indicate whether it was a man, woman or child.
Spidle was released on conditions, police said, and is expected to be charged in Washington County criminal court in Barre. They did not provide an anticipated arraignment date.MORE IN This Just InWeston Playhouse Theatre Company opened its 79th season with a slice of Vermont hick. Full Story“Press that white button!
