Also surviving are three sisters-in-law, Alida Davis of Bristol, Conn., Denise Bixby of Manchester, Conn., and Dorothy Cayia of Barre; along with a brother, Wesley Davis and his wife, Roberta, of Barre; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins; and her constant companion, her pug, Franklin.

Besides her husband and her parents, Celia was predeceased by two brothers, David Davis and Raymond Bixby; a granddaughter, Tori Clark; and a grandson, Todd Abair.

Her funeral service and celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 29, 2013, in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre.

Friends and family may call at the funeral home on that day from 9 a.m. until the beginning of the service.

Burial will be made in the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center.
