• Woman faces license charge

    BERLIN — A South Hero woman who was allegedly driving with a criminally suspended license Friday on the Barre-Montpelier Road has a court date early next year.

    State police said they pulled over a vehicle driven by Raegan Wells, 60, shortly after 1 p.m. Friday and cited her after determining that her license is under criminal suspension.

    Wells is to be arraigned in Washington County criminal court in Barre on Jan. 16.
