• Vt man arrested in bank robbery

    SOUTH BURLINGTON — A Vermont man has been arrested in a bank robbery in South Burlington, according to police.

    Police said 52-year-old David Parker is accused of robbing the People’s United Bank on Dorset Street on Wednesday afternoon. Authorities said he demanded money and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

    Parker was arrested near the bank with the money, police said.
