MILTON — Vermont State Police say two Franklin County men are facing arson charges for two house fires this spring and summer in Milton and Georgia.

Police said Wednesday that 17-year-old Andrew Davis, of Georgia, and 29-year-old Kenneth Floyd, of Swanton, have been cited to appear in court in December.

Police say an investigation into a suspicious house fire on Route 7 in Milton on July 13 led them to the two men. Authorities say through numerous interviews they determined that Davis and Floyd were also responsible for setting fire to an abandoned house in Georgia in May.

No one was hurt in either fire.

The total damage was estimated at more than $100,000.
