    Wilma M. Corti Rites

EAST BARRE — The life of Wilma M. Corti, of Washington Road, was honored and celebrated Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, in the East Barre Congregational Church, where she was a beloved member.

Wilma died Oct. 26, 2013, at the Berlin Health and Rehabilitation Center.

The Rev. Tim Sargent, pastor of the church, led the service. Pianist Amy Oni led the congregation in the hymns, “How Great Thou Art,” “In the Garden,” and “Amazing Grace,” as well as accompanying singer/guitarist Bobbie Sargent in the contemporary song, “Ten Thousand Reasons.”

Remembrances were shared by nieces, Paula McLaughlin and Pam Malone; nephew, William Booe; grandnephew, Jeremy Malone; and grand nieces, Justa Malone and Debbie Blondin.

Fellowship and luncheon followed in the church dining room, wonderfully prepared and served by the ladies of the church.

The graveside service and burial preceded at the Wilson Cemetery in Barre Town, with Rev. Sargent reading the committal prayers. The bearers were nephews, George Fox and William Booe; grandniece, Felicia Fox; and grandnephews, Jeremy Malone, Dan Corti and Michael Blondin.

The Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre, was in charge of the arrangements.
