Yvonne P. Wildbur Rites
SOUTH BARRE — A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday, October 19, 2013, at 11 a.m. in St. Monica Catholic Church in Barre for Yvonne P. Wildbur of South Barre who passed away on October 13, 2013, at the Berlin Health and Rehabilitation Center in Berlin. The Rev. Leopold J. Bilodeau, pastor of the church, was the celebrant.
Crucifer Fred Letourneau was altar server and led the Prayer of the Faithful.
Organist and soloist Rosemary Badeau accompanied vocalists Ronald Routhier and Richard Shadroui in the hymns “Amazing Grace,” “Hail Mary, Gentle Woman,” “Ave Maria,” “J’irai La Voir Un Jour,” “Song of Farewell” and “How Great Thou Art.”
Scripture readings from the Old Testament were read by Tami St. Marie, niece, and Bill Sell, a friend, read scriptures from the New Testament.
Offertory gifts were presented at the altar by Crystal Brooks, granddaughter, Christian Sell, grandson, Kelly Emmons, niece, and George Nisen, nephew.
Pallbearers were Dan Harper, John Sell, Duane Ennis, sons-in-law; Justin Sell, Jarrid Ennis and Francis Brooks, grandsons.
Burial followed the Mass in Hope Cemetery in Barre, where Father Leo offered committal prayers. Flowers were placed on her casket by family members and friends.
Following the burial, family and friends gathered at the Elks Club in Barre for a time of fellowship and luncheon.
Arrangements were in the care of the Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home, 58 Summer Street, Barre.
