    Stowe 2, Randolph 0

RANDOLPH — The Raiders scored one goal in each half to close the door on the Galloping Ghosts Friday.

Darien Boerger opened the scoring in the 20th minute, while teammate Kalli Glanz made it 2-0 in the second half on a pass from Bridget Martin.

Goalie Joanna Sargeant stopped 13 shots for the Ghosts, while Caroline Armbruster made four saves for the Raiders.

“Randolph came to play — it was their Senior Game and they played well,” Stowe coach Tim Ziegler said. “We missed a lot of opportunities, but that was because (the Ghosts) worked hard.

Stowe improves to 7-6-1 and will await Monday’s announcement of the playoff pairings.
