    Fault on both sides

Wonderful. The state’s delegation is speaking out to the GOP regarding the shut down. The House has passed multiple bills to fund sectors of the government that surely they must all agree on: veterans benefits, national parks, NIH research trials, etc.

Yet the Senate (Democrats) won’t consider them or negotiate. Why? They want everything up front before they come to the table. Kinda like Tip O’Neill screwed Reagan with unfulfilled promises after he got his tax hikes. You all elected these nimrods. I did not.

Since when does any faction of Congress get to say “no negotiating until we get what we want”? With all the “hostage” rhetoric coming from the Senate Democrats and the White House, be honest about who is holding who hostage. The Democrat-contolled Senate and the White House are holding the American people hostage. Period.
