• Chamber annual meeting nearing

    Lt. Gov. Phil Scott will be the keynote speaker at the annual meeting of the Rutland Region Chamber of Commerce.

    The event, sponsored by General Electric, will be held at noon Oct. 29, at the Holiday Inn Centre Ballroom in Rutland Town.

    Highlights of the meeting will include a concise PowerPoint presentation of the chamber’s accomplishments over the past year, Scott’s address and the announcement of the “Business Person of the Year Award,” chamber officials stated in a press release announcing the event.
