    MORRISTOWN - A Vermont man is in custody after holding police at bay and firing at least one shot inside his Morristown home.

    Police say the man was suicidal and barricaded himself inside his house Monday night.

    Police evacuated neighbors on Wabun Avenue and managed to get other residents of the home out safely.

    The man fired at least one shot while inside the home before surrendering to police.

    The man was hospitalized for evaluation. Police have not released his name.
