MORETOWN — Vermont State Police say a rollover on Moretown Mountain Road early Friday morning was caused by alcohol.

State police say Kristin Polermo, 33, of Lake City Fla., failed to negotiate a corner and went off the road, causing the vehicle to roll onto its passenger side. The passenger, Tiffany Meehling, 32, of Denver, and Polermo were taken to Central Vermont Medical Center with minor injuries.

State police say Polermo was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. She was cited and is scheduled to appear in Washington County criminal court Oct. 24 to answer the charge.
