WATERBURY — A public meeting will be held Wednesday to discuss ways to better manage remote campsites on Waterbury Reservoir.

The meeting will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at St. Leo’s Hall in Waterbury. The Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation is considering how to better manage the remote camping, enhance the experience for everyone and protect the shoreline. It’s hoping to get feedback.

The department is encouraging the public to attend, especially frequent users of the reservoir, people interested in future camping or curious about the remote sites, and those who simply care about the reservoir.
