    Gerald S. Farnham Rites

WASHINGTON — A service of remembrance for Gerald Steven Farnham, 60, formerly of Doyle Road, was held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Washington Baptist Church. He died September 5, 2013, at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.

Pastor Russell Rathier and Rev. Albert Collins, former pastor of the Websterville Baptist Church, officiated. Pianist, Thomas Blood, accompanied the congregation in the hymns, “In The Garden” and “Amazing Grace.”

A video tribute, “Remembering Gerry,” was played during the service. Family tributes were given by Gerry’s sons, Christopher Farnham and Kyle Farnham. Others offering reflections were brother-in-law, Gary Braman, speaking on behalf of the Braman family and nephew, Jeremy Salvatori.

Following the service, family and friends gathered downstairs at the church for a time of sharing memories and refreshments.

The Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre, was in charge of arrangements.
