MORETOWN — Vermont State Police say a 23-year-old woman has died after her vehicle left a roadway and crashed into some ledges head-on.

Police say Brittany Campbell, of Moretown, was driving in foggy conditions on the River Road in Moretown at about 4:40 a.m. Sunday when she failed to negotiate a curve in the road. She was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
