Man arrested, said he was his brother
SHAFTSBURY — A homeless man has been picked up on two arrest warrants after Vermont State Police responded to a verbal argument in Shaftsbury and the man claimed to be his brother.
Mark Stratton, 30, was arguing with a woman on Route 7A Monday when state police responded to the incident. Upon arrival, the woman told state police that she was talking to someone on the phone and the male voice that was heard must have been the television.
After an investigation, state police located Stratton hiding in the home and he first identified himself as Matthew Stratton, Mark Stratton’s twin brother. State police say they were able to identifiy Mark Stratton, who was then arrested on the warrants and cited for giving false information to a police officer.MORE IN This Just InRANDOLPH — The Conservation Law Foundation and Vermont Natural Resources Council sought...
