EAST MONTPELIER — Vermont State Police are looking for information about an armed home invasion Tuesday in East Montpelier.

State police say a lone male entered the residence of Robert Ohlstein, 66, on County Road around 10 p.m. The male forced his way into the home by gunpoint and demanded cash from Ohlstein, then fled on foot.

Ohlstein was not injured, but state police did not say whether any money was taken.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the Middlesex barracks at 229-9191. Those looking to submit an anonymous tip can text “crimes” (274637) to keyword VTIPS.
