• Police hand out letter about drugs in Burlington

    BURLINGTON - Law enforcement agencies have handed out over 800 letters to people in an area of Burlington pointing out illegal drug activity and quality of life concerns.

    The drug activity letter given to residents in the "Hill Section" of Burlington on Wednesday during a round of "knock and talks" discusses police efforts to deal with the drugs and asks residents for their continued assistance. There was also information about resources available for those seeking assistance with drug and alcohol addiction.

    The quality of life letter explained noise ordinance and other concerns, now that students are heading back to college.
