BERLIN — Police say a Northfield woman was cited for driving under the influence.

Faye Dowen, 23, was cited after police responded to a report of a vehicle “racing” up and down Crosstown Road. When police arrived, Dowen tried to drive away but was pulled over, they said.

Dowen is scheduled to appear in Washington County criminal court in mid-September to answer charges of driving under the influence and violating conditions of release.
