BOLTON — A Waterbury Center man has been cited on suspicion of driving under the influence in Bolton.

Albert E. Frey Jr., 38, was northbound on Interstate 89 Wednesday when he drove off the roadway. Vermont State Police said they found Frey uninjured but under the influence of alcohol.

State police say Frey’s blood alcohol content was more than three times the legal limit to drive, although the actual number was not released.

Frey is scheduled to appear in Chittenden County criminal court Sept. 10 to answer the charge.
