LONDONDERRY — Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are on the agenda for the first Vermont Freedom and Unity Festival.

The event is being held today at the Magic Mountain Ski Area in Londonderry and is expected to draw activists of a libertarian stripe.

Writer, farmer and activist Joel Salatin is to deliver the keynote address, titled “Everything I Want to Do Is Illegal.”

It’s also to feature an evening pig roast provided by New Hampshire-based Bardo Farm.

Festivities kick off at 9:30 a.m. and continue into the evening.
