• Cow killed in Route 15 collision

    WALDEN — Police say an East Hardwick resident struck and killed a cow early Thursday on Route 15.

    Dawn Sullivan, 44, was driving west when she struck the cow in the roadway. Police said Sullivan’s 2012 GMC Sierra was significantly damaged in the collision.

    Sullivan was taken to Copley Hospital by Hardwick Rescue. She was wearing a seatbelt.

    Police indicate there was fog in the area at the time of the accident, around 5 a.m.
