• Motorcyclist pleads not guilty to ramming car

    BURLINGTON — A Colchester man accused of ramming into a woman’s car with his motorcycle has pleaded not guilty to simple assault and unlawful mischief.

    Justin McKenzie, 42, was released Tuesday after his pleas in Vermont Superior Court.

    McKenzie is accused of repeatedly ramming a vehicle owned by Lisa Tomasik of Hinesburg on Monday night, pounding her car with his fist and threatening multiple times to assault her.

    He left the scene of the dispute but was arrested a short distance away.
