• Flags taken during spate of break-ins

    WATERBURY — Vermont State Police are seeking information about several burglaries in the Waterbury-Duxbury area between Thursday and Tuesday.

    State police say someone stole American flags in three separate incidents on Blush Hill and Lonesome Trail. During the same time frame the Blush Hill Country Club in Waterbury was broken into and had items stolen. The Country Club of Vermont in Waterbury Center was vandalized. A mini golf course on Route 100 in Duxbury also had items stolen.

    Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact the Middlesex barracks at 229-9191.
