    Charles A. Tanguay Rites

    BARRE — The family committal and graveside service for Charles A. “Buddy” Tanguay, of Park Street, was held Saturday, July 20, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Hope Cemetery in Barre. He died July 12, 2013, at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.

    The Rev. David Vanderlinde-Abernathy, pastor of the Barre Congregational Church, led the service.

    The folded American flag to honor his service in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict was presented to his sister, Beverly, by Bruce W. Judd, a family friend.

    Fellowship and luncheon followed at the Hilltop Restaurant in Barre Town.

    The Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre, was in charge of the arrangements.
