Vt woman gets three years on cocaine charges
BURLINGTON — A Barre woman has been sentenced to a little over three years in prison on charges of possessing and distributing crack cocaine.
Court records say 26-year-old Lisa Barbour was stopped in a vehicle on Interstate 91 in 2012. The stop led to the search, arrest and eventual 10-year sentence of another person in the vehicle, Jonathan Allen, of Barre.
Prosecutors said Barbour sold crack cocaine to a confidential informant in March 2012. She was indicted in September.
Barbour was sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Burlington.MORE IN This Just InThe Associated Press Full StoryLocal contractors are looking forward to a busy construction season — a sign of an improving...
