• Missing Vt man with dementia found in ravine

    COLCHESTER — Police say a missing Colchester man who has dementia has been found after a two-day search.

    Authorities say 66-year-old James Marrs was found alive and conscious in a ravine behind Claussen’s Florist a quarter mile from his home Friday afternoon.

    Marrs, who lives alone, was last seen Wednesday walking near the intersection of Vermont Route 2A and U.S. Route 7.

    Friday he was taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
