MARSHFIELD — Melanie Lynne Carter, 42, of Patty’s Crossing, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday morning, July 7, 2013.

Ward Jr. and his wife, Heather, of Riverton, and Jeffery Ferris and his wife, Holly, of Montpelier; and nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her mother- and father-in-law, Shirley and Gary Carter, and brother-in-law Brian Carter and his wife, Trish, all of Marshfield.
She was predeceased by her father.
